 Lots of editing here, photomatix, made one layer underexposed to fix blown out highlights, deleted the layer at 50% opacity to fix the clouds that were blown out.

healing brush here and there, dodge , burn, etc.

i just hope to get a 6 with this. i didn't get to spend as much time as i normally would have, but i liked the image a lot. :D

I like the colors of this, and the position of the pier in the image, but don't care for the perfectly centered horizon.

Nice tranquil image. I may have had the dock take up more of the image with a slightly different angle that is closer to the sign. Still nicely processed and result. Good Luck. 6.

Gorgeous sky and nice, glassy water. I like the contrast between the blues and the brown of the dock, and the slight warm tone in the highlights of the sky help to top everything off. The composition of the dock is good, too; it draws the eye on a nice diagonal toward the tree in the water and into the rest of the image.

This is a good version too! What I like most about this lake? is the old snags. Great job bringing out the texture of the dock.
