Challenge: Best of 2007 (Advanced Editing VII*)
Camera: Canon EOS-400D Rebel XTi
Lens: Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Date: Oct 14, 2007
Aperture: f/4.0
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/200 sec
Galleries: Emotive, Macro
Date Uploaded: Jan 20, 2008

This original looks almost exactly like my Macro VI's original. That one was IMG_6606.CR2, this one is IMG_6620.CR2. It's the same drop. Obviously, I took several very similar shots! I used what I thought was the very best for Macro VI, and this one comes in second. Since that was my highest scoring image ever (and I've gotten lots of good feedback), I figured I'd do something similar for best of 2007. This one is flipped horizontally and processed just a bit differently. I think I like how this one turned out better. It will be interesting to see the score.

Very cool macro; such sharp detail. I like the duo-tones here. It shows great emotion with the tear drop. Great job on this photo -BB

P.S. Is this freakin_hilarious?

I have seen this before. Nicely done. DoF is a little narrow for my liking, but still nicely captured. Good Luck. 6.

while nice, just been done a bit too much for me. I understand that it can be great practice to learn how to recreate shots that you like. But I would like to see your own interprtation of the shot vs a pretty much recreation. It is done well though and I do like the tones.

Must be from the same shoot as this:

I like this but I think I prefer the blue one better.
