 January Walkabout - Saturday the 19th

This unappealing corner is the closest bus stop to my apartment. Took a quick snap with the P&S on auto. Didn't take off my suede and fleece mittens, hands were already cold enough. I am grateful for the pretty little cloud at the left.
Light is still nice at 8:40 am. In fact Minneapolis is far enough north that the sun never gets directly overhead in winter, so no harsh lighting problems. Snow was getting old and ugly, but we got another inch Monday.

I was never much of a winter fan, and my tolerance is about used up. If you can see the sky it is probably below 20 F.

You get extra props just for venturing outside ... that sign makes this one a keeper!

I see sun and snow, always good ingredients for a nice photo, but I can imagine you have some problems with the temperature.

As I was walking and freezing I wondered if somebody would have it colder than me... YOU WIN!! Nice job considering all you were up against.

Your a brave, brave woman! I think I'd be shooting from inside the car. I like the soft focus and the muted colors. Nice afternoon or early morning light.
