It's to bad that this was captured with a cement wall as the background. It is always better to capture these images with the perception that it was taken in the wile. The focus is bang on and it is the first Lion capture I have seen thus far where the mouth was not bleached due to processing. I would have also tried to not have so much wasted space on the right especially with the cement background. It is too bad that this will not score as well as it deserves as the Lion itself is well done. Good Luck. 5.

its a nice close up but the fence in the background does nothing for this shot

He looks so so sad, poor lion. Not sure about the bg, it is a little distracting. Beautiful detail of the lion though. I love that you captured his emotion.

focus and lighting is nice. A bump in contrast might be good but manely(:)) you need something other than a formed concrete wall as a background. Maybe they could let him out for a few minutes while you shoot! ;)

Great title, he does look kind of shy, love the tilt of the head, unusual lion shot and thats a good thing. Wish I could see a small bit more of him but I still like it. 7

And Luke says; "Do I have to put up with this humiliation one more day?"
