We often look at tulips, but are distracted by the color and do not see the texture in the petals. I was amazed at how this image resembeled a waterfall. It looks so soft they beg to be touched. The image was four exposures on one frame. When doing so the result is never predictable. The camera must be mounted on a sturdy tripod. The procedure takes practice. Hint: get in the habit of always turning the forcusing ring to the right and very, very slightly. Otherwise, you will not have a soft image and will see a distinct edge line of each exposure. It was taken with a 35mm all-manual Canon F-1 camera, a 200mm macro Canon lens and Fuji Velvia 50 film. The image was not manipulated in any way.
