This was really hard (even though it didn't turn out super well) to capture because this boat replica is about 2-3 inches long.

Any criticism would be appreciated. Especially because this is my first attempt at setting up a picture. Before, all of my photos have been "candid". I am still new, so if you have any advice on something you see wrong in the picture, let me know. (More advanced things... such as how to reduce noise, get good lighting, etc.)

Thanks and enjoy!

The light quality is very appropriate for the subject.

I worry that others will deem to background blind to be irrelevant and a distraction - only slightly saved by your mentioning of it in the title. Just the model against a neural background to keep things simple would probably score higher

Out of focus?

Nicely done. I like the natural soft light. Seems a little too tight on the crop though. Especially on the bottom. If you didn't want to show the sill... Maybe some crumpled light brown packing paper for the material underneath the boat to give off a wavy ocean effect.
