Love the lighting, long shadows always adds so much to a photo in my opinion, the choice of subject is brilliant, I have to ask do you shoot super straight straight away or do you need to slightly adjust it afterwards? =]

Too Ed Clarke? Impossible! Bite your tongue.

There's never enough Ed.

I always figured St Peter would take the whole thing at one time, not just the head. But it appears you were there at just the right instant as the process began.

Brilliant shot, congrats on the ribbon. It's so nice to see my home town so well represented. Better than anything I've done here, and I'd bet you were only in town for the day (and why would anyone stay here longer than that?). Drop me a note next time you're here and maybe we can share a pint.

Er, right. Slight numerical error there. Wonder if I can get it corrected ...

You were the first person to notice though ;-)

Brilliant. 10. Aw hell, I was going to pass this by for a ribbon for some perverse reason, like it's too good or something, or it just looks too much like a ribbon, or it's just too Ed Clarke, and technically I've given out three ribbons already, but my system allows for ties so I'm giving this a Posthumous yellow ribbon. Yes, I know you were robbed, but I've never claimed to be fair.

The sign for St. Peters Street is very distracting to the overall composition of this photo.

I like the high contrast, black and white here.
