 Florida bird in the wild.
Shot with an old Nikkor 300 4.5 ED IF and Vivitar 2X Telextender. No filter. Processed to brighten and raise levels, sharpen, crop. This is about 1/2 of the original. The bird was about 150 yards range, and it was right at sunset.

really, really good. love herons and this is a very nice capture. lots of great textures in the surrounding vegetation.
