I thought this was a very interesting shot. I like the idea of going with less than more.

Nice shot, Jason. Where did all the water go? I like shots of the woods and I know how hard it is to get the light right. This makes me want to follow that dry stream around the curve to see where it's going. I am really drawn into the image.

Serious blurred waterfalls only need apply. They stone you if you do and they stone you if you don't.

Lovely picture/sylvan ambience, etc...

Post challenge comments:

It is actually a stream it comes off the ferns hits the path then goes vack into the ferns. Run off from the snow up the mountain. It us pretty common for streams to cross the path for a bit.

Lol I liked the title - it made me laugh. I didn't think this deserved to score that low. Beautiful capture of the light shining thru the trees and nice job of not losing the remants of the stream.

The intense sun in the upper left really adds to the overall feeling/mood fo the shot.

yes, global warming makes the stream look like a mud puddle

this will get hammered for dnmc
stretch of a title
forest or "puddle" entry not river/stream
great attempt at brown though

I think a little more saturation in the greenery would have made this really "pop".
