Took this shot from under the bridge while standing on the frozen river. The building in the distance is the back of our City Hall.

Post processed using PSPIX: applied shadow/midtone/highlight adjustments using a masked layer; equalized histogram on middle third; Brightness/contrast adjustment layer; resize and usm.

I left the bridge in on purpose so that you could actually tell that it was a river. Without the bridge, it just looks like a frozen field.

The lighting is interesting, but I don't care for the bridge. It cuts an odd path across the top and side.

A tighter crop to eliminate the top and side would be less distracting, I think.
