 I promised to show you some dodgy places and here is the first! my PhD office hehehe

Lots of unhealthy things going on here (my desk is the one at the back with the map BTW). No daylight (not that we have much outside anyway), web surfing, crackers, sandwiches, noodles, chocolate, sweets and all the things that keep you going during the day (for more info check phdcomics.com).

This is my second home now since I spend lots of time here. Those boxes are there because another student finally finished and was packing yesterday.

Considering how sad the office is, it must be really sad outside to have the shades pulled (if that is indeed what those are). I guess you want to get work done, this is the place to do it.

Wow - thanks for sharing. Amazing that you all get any work done in an environment without light. But I guess many people work like that.

a friend of mine is in a PhD program and this looks a lot like the dungeon... er, I mean grad student office, that her school provides. i notice that your station is the only one with stuff on the wall - good call.
