Nice light and the BG is wonderful. too centered a composition, not very 3D. The branch in the upper right which might be considered distracting, could I think have been used in the composition to add a contrast to show that the growth is abnormal. (theory is, unless it adds to the photo, remove it. Photogragraphy is subtractive where as painting is additive - a painter starts with an empty canvas and adds to it to make an image. A photographer have everything in front of him, and has to remove what isn't wanted thru framing, DOF, etc.) |
