I was originally going to enter the clown contest. However, that photo did not turn out so well... So this was the next best thing. My little brother is the model in this shot. I used a small light to light up the book and ambient light from outside to light up his face. I also used a reflector to bounce the light to the other side of his face as well. My father led both the small light and the reflector how I wanted them.

a 5.3?! That's madness! This DEFINITELY deserved way better. Oh well, you never know what the voters will like. ;D

Kind of cool but I wish the book was not partially visible in his left lens.

I really like that you used the reflection instead of trying to get rid of it. A touch more of the left side of his face might have been good, but it's good work, regardless of my minor quibble.

Good idea by your lighsources have different color temprature. You should have matched them for more uniform look

interesting and original idea (a 6 for that). not satisfied with the tecnicals:
the reflected image is not so clear.
left eyes's lashes have something on that grabs my attention.
lighting is ok but still a bit too flat for my taste.
bg color (blueish gray) does not add to the composition

Good concept, the skin looks underexposed though.

Think it would have been excellent w/ the reflection in only one lens.

Good use of reflection. It would have been nice to get the book in both lenses.

Excellent use of the reflective nature of the glasses

I would have liked this much better had the book not been blurred.
