I realize this is not a traditional portrait, with proper lighting set up and posed subject facing the camera – rather a candid shot. But I like how the picture turned out and decided to submit – after all he is wearing spectacles:)

Adjustments in DPP
Convert and save as TIF
Slight adjustments to curve and hue/saturation layers in CS2
Resize, USM, border and Save for Web

Do not expect high scores – but let’s see what happens…

I think if he's looking down I'd like to see his hand. Better yet I might like to see a glint in his eyes or a little more sign of emotion. I can't tell if this is a stage or studio shot but the lighting is nice, especially if it's a stage shot.

This is just a snapshot. I think (in general) if you have a portrait you need to see eyes... otherwise you're just shooting someone doing something

Not enough focus on the actual glasses. Colors aren't that interesting either.
