Painful challenge but is was nice to try. Hope I understood all the rules.

6 shots of a ferry coming from the other side. Put all the photos on different layers and removed all but the ferry, except for the bottom layer. Removed some sensor dust, resized and sharpened.

What...I just see a couple of boats in the water...geesh. Nah, I do like how the boat makes it's way into nothingness.

Considering that the boat is the subject of the time lapse here, I would have preferred this withough the grass in the foreground. I find myself looking at it more than the boats.

For me this is a hard one. I've seen so many times lines of boats against the docks, and this looks a bit like that to me.

Nice light and colour - looks real. The sequence? . . .

i like the composition, though the main subject is a bit far away. the problem, for me, is that boat doesn't really show much 'movement' from one frame to the next. it appears to just be a line of boats that look alike rather than one boat that has moved along a path to the other side. there is nothing to distinguish it.

This could be three different ships. Maybe a tighter crop or zooming in would make the ships be the focal point, rather than just part of the landscape.

Cool shot. I wish we had a little close view of the boat but I like the include of the water.

I think a little more effort might make more of this scene and the shot. Not very exciting in its present state.

scalvert: well, if we can verify that the pilot took his hand off the wheel and the boat was moving on its own accord, then it's natural.

frisca: ok, I've got my agents on it right now.

muckpond: I like boats!

You have a great entry here. I am not too sure that anyone else has a large ship in their picture as the main subject. The processing fits the image well and you definately met the challenge. But I don't find it overly exciting. Because of that I am going to give it a 6.

It took me awhile to realize I was supposed to be looking at the ferry. Nothing really drew my eye to the object. Nice try, though.

Difficult to pick out whats moving here. The composition provides a huge triangle of bland grass and water which contribute nothing to the main image.
