Thank you.... I knew that while I was clicking the picture, that it would look more like a dull snapshot. I used F/4.5, the highest apaerture setting which I could use in my camera, but even then I was not getting the required DOF. The distractions in the photo were too close to them. I'll remember your advices when I have to take a photo during similar conditions.
