This is the bottle brush bloom. The bushes are quite impressive. I couldn't get the red to look red enough, despite hours of editing. So just imagine a redder bottle brush.
On further 'research', this looks like it may be a Calliandra haematocephala - Red Powder Puff. In the 'mimosa' family, but not the same genus. More info below if interested:
If you have a cloudy day WB setting, try shooting flowers using that WB. You may have to desat a little. I usually shoot flowers under exposed a bit, then brighten up in pp. Flowers do strange things with UV light, and the camera picks up on some of it I think.
