Placed the glass on a coffee table with base lighting under a diffuser. Took many shots both over and under exposed. The final shot was achieved with one stop under exposed with no additional lighting.

I like the focus on the glass, but you don't really have a nice focus on the ice cubes. My eyes are drawn to the bottom of the glass where it is brighter and sharper. Maybe put some more light up on the ice instead of the gold specks.
