I love simple and artsy shots like yours. Your created a great mood in the scene, however I find the harsh light on the wall to be distracting.

Almost a ghostly feeling to this. ( Maybe I watch the Ghost Hunters go much?) Like it much.

Very unique idea. Strange, for some reason I like this better as a thumbnail. Perhaps because I can absorb the scene as a whole more clearly.Good stuff.

Yes! What Deb said - I thought it was the light of Claire, who's corset remains, while she is gone. I like this image, though I can see why it wouldn't do well in FS - takes too much time to absorb.

I gave this a 5. I would relly prefer it without the bright light. Without it, it would be a simple scene, more pleasing.

i gave this a 5 because i don't speak french!--lol--the light doesn't fall on anything nothing stood out

Me, too, Deb! Clair is a woman... and there she is!

Shows what I know. I inferred that Clair was a woman, was no longer with us, and this was her room, the light her presence. I should read up on my French (which I did study once but that was ever so long ago!) I do like the light - I quite often find myself shooting stuff like this, too.

Wow. Tremendous. And what a great title. I love it when a photographer understands his/her own photograph.

Interesting assortment of objects; wish I could see more detail on them. Blown highlights don't look ghostly or otherwise interesting and straight-on perspective doesn't really do much for me.

Would be nice to see a stronger element on the table.

Slight angle on the table is distracting. Needs more definitive lighting I think.

The bright sunlight adds nothing. If the light was in the shape of the window with nice sharp details that would have been nice.
