 She's only eight years old. Talk about having old eyes, huh?
Acrylics painted on her face for fun - whole lotta attitude to boot.

After challenge:
This was worth every minute of the challenge for the look of pride and worth on her face everytime she came over and saw her face on my computer screen. Shes been struggling with some bodyimage things brought on by the kids at school (and shes EIGHT! OMG! I want to strangle the parents putting that crap in their kids heads!) because she is very tiny and very thin due to a medical condition that keeps her from putting on weight without a struggle. This little project seemed to help her immensely in feeling that she was beautiful - and so were her freckles, her knobby knees and her bones that show.

Real beauty, real humanity, real people. The eyes. This must be a really fine photo because the face painting/ersatz tattoos take nothing away, and if they add something I am not aware of it - rather a mystery and a triumph.

Nice face decoration here. Good focus. I wonder if you would give one more light from left, not much but little... hmmm. Nice photo overall though :)

Nicely framed by the hair. The eyes are sharp but the mouth is a bit soft. Overall I think the exposure could have been reduced slightly.
