This is what happens when you go Christmas tree hunting at your friends tree farm in the dark. The tree looked great in the wild but was as crooked as a dogs hind leg when we got it in the house. So I put it in the stand and we were all in stiches laughing at how crooked it was we desided to leave it. It's not supported in any way, just the tree stand.

Now the real funny part comes when my sister came over to look after the family dog and our son Calebs bird. She saw the tree was on a lean and spent over twenty minutes trying to fix it. That was more fun for us then putting the tree up in the first place.

"I couldn't fix it no matter what I did, it still lookes like it's falling over." She said.

She was some pissed with us for not telling her that the tree was like that and we liked it that way.

"I would've made Pete (her husband) fix it no matter how long it took." She screamed.

I smiled and said "Thats why it's in our home not yours, it's fine the way it is."

Totally pissed off with me she kissed my cheek and left in a huff.

Smiling "Thanks for trying to fix the tree, and looking after the pets. Love you."

"Piss off, I love you too." She yelled as she backed out of the driveway.

We think we'll hunt for our tree in the dark every year from now on. It has had a wonderful warm feel to our Christmas.
