I know it has been done many times but it's a first for me.
Used two macro flashes , 1 on the left (60 deg) , 1 on the right )also 45 deg)
Blue background was used. Trigerred the shutter with remote release while dropping the ice cube.

A good splash in the water shot. The only problem with using an ice cube is it doesn't stand out against the background well enough. Hence the use of lemons and such against contrasting backgrounds. Sounds like you had fun doing it, and now that you know how, you can do it whenever it suits!

this shot is interesting because it appears that the trail behind the cube is instantly freezing as the ice enters the water. great capture.
