I saw this pile of cans and thought they were so cool and asked the guy I was doing headshots for to go stand facing the wall. I wanted to experiment with balancing objects with the human form. Instead of just looking straight ahead he looked up, creating a really cool shadow on the wall which contrasts a viewers natural belief that he is peeing on the wall. He isn't, he is just standing there looking up.


I love this shot, it is so simple and fun and kind of abstract.

To me this has a theatre set feel to it. It could work for a Tom Sawyer set. I like it. Kinda looks like he's taking a pee though. Good thing he is looking up.

It's what his shadow is doing that makes this one intriguing for me. If you had cropped the shadow out, I would find this piece much less interesting because I really can't tell what the guy is doing.

Haha... I just read your description. Yeah, I kinda thought he was standing there taking a pee. lol
