 A little over a year ago, my organisation's office was in Downtown NYC, 11th and 2nd Avenue. A deceptive little nook in the Lower East Side, transforming in atmosphere and passersby from day to night. A very interesting place to observe people!

Anywho, if you know Manhattan, there are loads of parking meters everywhere. Since it's the Lower East, there are a lot of artsy folk there that stroll the streets once the work force moves on and scurries home.

This shot is one of the meters on 11th Street and the first in this series.
