i see the texture and recognize the metal ring on top of the ornament, but quite frankly, i don't understand what is going on in the left side of the photo. kind of interesting but it doesn't seem to belong in this photo.

Lovely and so unusual to see such a tight crop and such muted colours for a Christmas decoration image. I really love the composition with the two halves and sweeping curves as well as the contrast between smooth out-of-focus ball, knobbly metal top, and the different sized "bokeh balls" (for want of a better term!). It's all just lovely!

Something is throwing it off for me. Maybe the difractions on the left are too much of a distraction? Have you tried it upside down?

Had to look at this a few moments to figure out it was a Christmas ball. I like the composition, I don't like the majority of the image being out of focus. (And I apologize for throwing stones in glass houses!)
