 I had wet feet and legs after taking photos on the beach yesterday, but capturing the crashing surf was interesting and rewarding! This image was taken at 52 mm, programmed auto, multi-pattern settings. I used Nikon's Capture NX to convert from RAW, straighten, adjust contrast, and USM. And PhotoshopCS2 to adjust exposure slightly, crop and size the image.

Really like the foam of the surf in this shot, as well as the way it is enveloping the driftwood. Excellent composition and freezing of the action.
