Congratulations on your PB. I'm still trying to figure out the guy in the background. It looks like a burglar, but I'm guessing it's someone either opening presents or rushing to work? I can definitely identify with this. I lost my work cell phone while taking pictures in tidepools, and was HOPING it didn't get replaced with a Crackberry. Alas it did, the same model as yours.

This is one of the better photos for the contest, in my opinion. It fit the criteria, everything in the shot is relevant, it is original and tells a very real story, and most importantly, you didn't totally neglect the fundamentals of good photography in the process.

I'm usually turned off by frames, but here is a good example a simple frame used in good taste to compliment the image.

My criticism would be that I don't like the crop touching the edge of the ribbon. I'd prefer it be closer in, or further away. This is such a minor nitpick that I feel silly even offering it.

Great entry.

Yes, there are times that I love technology, and other times I just want to throw it out the window on the freeway.

Excellent expression of the sentiment.

Nice concept, great how the guy in the back gets ready. Execution is fine, except for the tight crop on the right.
