It feels good to enter in a challenge again! I haven't been in one for so long... and I love the way this shot turned out.

In case anyone wondered what the little thingy in the persons' hand is, it's a miniature umbrella. Wish it had turned out a bit more obviously...

The editing steps, random order:
Crop, burning and dodging, glausian blur, brightness/contrast, selective color, unsharp mask, and resize. I created two layers - one in color and one in sepia for the selective desat thing.

This is a cool idea and you've picked the perfect setting. Perhaps a little more contrast or dodging and burning might help here to really make her stand out.

This shot has that dpc stagedness that I'm not fond of, but the correlation of big umbrella to little umbrella is fascinating, the composition is just interesting enough, and since I am spared from looking into an insincere model's eyes, I can be drawn into the fantasy (normally it is very difficult to relate to a beautiful model).

I just love the colors here. Simply superb. I see some touch edges against the background, not much but seems a little rough if you know what I mean. Still one of my favorites in the challenge. Love the mimicry of the two umbrellas. Not generally a fan of this type of work, but when done right as yours is it is truly wonderful.

Beatuiful colors, interesting subject. Personally I find the background too busy and it takes away from your main subject.
