If it were not for the underexposed areas this would have done better. You may have wanted a darker toned effect but the lack of detail in the shadows is too much. An angle a little bit higher might have helped too. Great idea.

Nichola? A little dark which loses some of the detail, but a nice composition with great angles. I would have gone for a slightly greater DOF to get both sides of the 'heart' in focus, but perhaps that is just taste.

The camera angle is too low and there is not enough depth of field.
