The spelling is "cormorant" and they definitely are NOT cormorants. Their head shape places them more in the duck-or-goose category. Cormorants have longer, hooked-at-the-end beaks, for grabbing fish with. Nice shot though.

The warm tones of this make it feel very inviting to me. Personally, I like the grass on the right of the shot as it lets the viewer have a sense of perspective as to where on the water the birds are located. I also like how all the birds are facing to the right except the last one on the left - like he is looking back to make sure no one has been left behind. |

I like this..it's very peaceful and makes me want to go sit on a dock and watch the sun set!
The only thing I MIGHT change it if were me,is cropping it up a little more so you couldn't see the grass/weeds in the very bottom right hand corner...just my thoughts though! It's a great picture |
