 Whole bunch of folks were hanging out waiting to go home. As in HOME. They'd finished their 15 months and were headed back to the US.

Excellent use of symbolism. Your capture of the backlighting and the light reflecting up from the ground is amazing.

He looks so weary, and certainly not relaxed yet with that gun in his lap. Hope he had a happy homecoming when it finally came.
