The HMS Surprise.
The ship used in the academy award winning film, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World found a permanent home at the Maritime Museum of San Diego in 2004. HMS Surprise is a magnificent replica of an 18th century Royal Navy frigate.

Isn't the HMS Surprise the old HMS Rose?? It is a very beautiful ship. I love the lighting in your picture with the sun begining to set in the back. I also really like the reflections in the water. Do you take alot of pictures of ships?
