 I took this picture on the fly in Downtown Seattle near Macy's, it was a protest about Guantanamo and Consumerism.

Needs more contrast. Lighting's flat. A little too political also.

I've noticed that political statements have a hard time doing well at DPC. I think you have some voters that can't get beyond the political message and see the photo with a photographer's technical eye. The composition of this photo is pretty cluttered and the lack of contrast hurts this B & W. The focus isn't very sharp, either.
