 This is a vintage Fender Stratocaster guitar. I thought about titling the photo "Stratovarius", but I thought there might be backlash from the pun, or some people just wouldn't get Strat-Strad connection. I laid the guitar on the carpet, I chose a place that looked pleasing lighting-wise. There was a little dog hair I thought I could clone out later, until I read the basic editing rules! Oops.

Beautiful and well experienced guitar (?):-). The photo is very pleasant to look at, mainly thanks to unusual colors. I would expect a "Faithfull companion" to be less abstract; blurry strings, fine as they are, would fit better if more focused. Or may be not.

Wish it had a little more DOF, but this is a very cool looking instrument. Lots of character in it. A solid 7.

Love the colors. The little bit of chromic aberration in the over-sharp bokeh actually looks fine here.

At first I thought I didn't like this shot. On second look, I see the idea easily comes across as a once beautiful guitar showing it's age. The picture is simple.

seeing this much of it I really now want to see the rest of the guitar :) I think the colors really serve you well on this one. I like the use of foreground vs. background. Just a nice shot.

Wow, what an idiosynchratic item and this is a great portrait of it. I really love your lighting and choice of shallow DOF which have combined to work their magic on the strings and the little bokeh circles of reflected light. The colours and textures of the paintwork are beautifully presented.
