I agree with everything people have said about the focus. I was not happy with the focus on the chair. I didn't have a tripod there, and I am not doing will with hand-holding the new camera. Progress is being made though. Thanks for the comments and thanks to those of you who saw the beauty in this chair.

I love how the greens and spots of orange also match the background. I think I would have liked to have seen either more of the chair in focus or the part in the foreground. However I don't think the background is a distraction, it works well with the whole theme of the pic.

I like the old worn weathered look this has and how it seems to fit the background so well.

I like how the chair is becoming part of its environment - blends right in and feels right at home there. It may be outcast from other, newer chairs, but it belongs with the rest of the scene quite well.

Simple, but it works. Great colors. My only quibbles are the shadow at the top left and the minor loss of DOF at the left side of the chair. This shows a good eye. An interesting shot of an everyday item. Fits both "everyday" and "Wabi-Sabi".

the pic seems a bit out of focus and that distracts from the good composition.. and the border is a no no..

I don't find the lighting very pleasant. The background is also very distracting and the main subject is not entirely in focus.

I like the concept of this one. Shadow across chair in upper left corner is unfortunate.

Awww... I love it. Welcome in my garden anytime! The frame works in this case.

i would like this so much more with a diff colored frame, to emphasize the decay of the chair. Pleasing image otherwise, and I think you nailed the WabiSabi concept of the beauty in imperfection
