This is the 2007 giant Christmas tree in Nathan Phillips Square (the city hall square) in Toronto, ON, Canada. During the winter holiday season each year, the city of Toronto stages what is called the Cavalcade of Lights, which includes outdoor stage performances and fireworks displays, as well as thousands of holiday lights both in Nathan Phillips Square, on several main streets and in various neighbourhoods of the city. I thought the big tree's decorations this year were especially beautiful.
