It won first place in the human powered division in 2,000, by launching an 8 lb pumpkin 1,336 ft.,and placed 10th in the unlimited class in 01 with a launch of 2,986 ft.
We use it with watermelons here in Florida for fun shooting, as we do not have pumpkins available here. They launch better anyway. Google "Bazookey" to see it in action on BBQ TV. Our best distance launch so far with a watermelon is around 4,500 ft. The target in this shot, just visible at the tree line is over 1/4 mile away, and is 8 ft square.
