Was on a ladder hanging Christmas lights and liked the contrast of "winter" elements (winter for So Cal)...bare tree, yellow leaves, clouds, blue sky. Used a polarizer.
Like the contrast between the blue sky and the yellow tree. You obviously listened to the comments about cropping out the roofs and I do prefer the "roofless" version.
First, I like the square crop. I also like the transition behind the bare tree from yellow to blue. Perhaps a slightly tighter crop to get rid of the roof tops?
