 Taken at Clovelly, Sydney. I adjusted levels separately for the sky and the FG of the one exposure JPG shot and combined using mask layers, I didn't use a filter but I used a polariser. I applied some clarify tool (level 1 or 2) of PSP. No cropping done. Hand held, tilted the horizon in PSP. Also used Neat image. I applied high pass sharpen on duplicate layer with adjusted opacity after some initial USM. When I saw the stopped motion challenge I thought this would be perfect for it but I'd taken this 1 day before it started so I couldn't post it for that challenge. I thought of dodging the right side of the sea to lighten it a little but decided against it cos I thought I'd stuff it.

Very nice stop-motion on the wave, and nice colors. I don't think I'd like it nearly as well if the sea were blue.

I like the shutter speed used to capture the ocean break. I think the clouds lost a little too much detail from neat image. Maybe try duplicating the image and applying the NI to the top layer and using a mask so you can selectively have the NI work on the parts that need it the most. 8

I think you've slightly over-blurred the background clouds. They contrast nicely with the waves (which are very, very sharp) but I want to see just a little more cloud detail.
