Taken from my car window, handheld, with my new 40d and 100-400 L lens, at full 400 mm extension. i love this lens. PP was fairly straight=forward. I tweaked the Wb and exposure and colors in DPP, then did some levels, NI and USM in PS. Did some d/b on the background to lighten the fence.

wow, nice capture! I really like the framing and the white. it feels like the face is out of focus though

Although a decent enough shot of the buck, I find all the junk in the background takes way too much from this image for my tastes. With this being an advanced editing challenge, I would have cloned that all out. That would have made for excellent negative space.

Great shot makes me wonder what happened to his ears. I may have cloned out the twig over his back
