 Shot with available light from the pool hall, which was not the best, but oh well. Converted from raw and did massive amounts of curves to even light and add contrast

I hope you like it.

It's far from white, it's a pretty neutral grey.

I like this imagine! It's a little dark though-I would have brightened it up and boosted the contrast a bit (I think you can still do that in basic editing?). The look on the guy's face is great though, and it's beautiful image.

nice 'action shot' - i just wish the lighting and contrast were better - the 'hustler' and the cue seems a bit too gray

clearly a difficult shot, the subject seems appropriate but doesnt fully convince with this shot. A hustler would pull of something amazing, this doesnt seem to difficult (no expert on pool though). The bw conversion seems a bit off, too dark. main subject would do well to crop at top as now the baldness looks awkward and is emphasized.

Nice idea, needs contrast though. Looks damned flat as it is. I can't see a single white pixel. i do like it though, reminds of me of the old film photographs.
