 I know, it has been done before but not by me. I used my breambreaker to help with the repetition, firing a single 580EX flashgun, above and to the left of the splash.
Post processing was minimal, crop for geometry, just a bit of cloning out some distracting shadows and a couple of water droplets which whizzed by too fast for the flash! Curves, smart sharpen, resize, save for web, etc.

The strong colours take away from the stopped motion.. maybe different background would be more effective..

This liquid drop has a nice caldera and defined rim, but the checkerboard overpowers the liquid.
