this is casualguy's outtake for textures II. i've added a Brightness/Contrast tweak in Photoshop of roughly -20 brightness and +35 contrast.
this brought the backround up to a nice clean black with no hint of shadow from the rope, and punched up the textures of the roap itself, washing away the grayish overcast that was dulling it slightly.
i hope you don't mind, casualguy. its a great photo, and i just wanted to show how a little bit of Photoshop could go a long way in making great photographs shine.
