Sing it with me!

Originally posted by The Beatles:

Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup,
They slither wildly as they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my open mind,
Possessing and caressing me.
Jai guru deva, om,
Nothing's gonna change my world,
Nothing's gonna change my world.
Nothing's gonna change my world.
Nothing's gonna change my world.

Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on across the universe,
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box
They tumble blindly as they make their way
Across the universe
Jai guru deva, om,
Nothing's gonna change my world,
Nothing's gonna change my world.
Nothing's gonna change my world.
Nothing's gonna change my world.

Sounds of laughter shades of life are ringing
Through my opened ears inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying Love which shines around me like a
million suns, It calls me on and on
Across the universe

Nothing's gonna change my world,

I don't normally post poems or lyrics with my images but what the hell... these two play nice together.

Used a CPL to make the sky a bit more dramatic then enhanced that effect, boosted contrast and saturation all in Nikon Capture NX. No crop or rotation. I've been trying to stay out of Photoshop because I usually end up making things worse.

This perspective is absolutely awesome, it took me a little bit to figure out how the camera was being held, very cool shot, with great colors.

An interesting image, certainly different from the norm in terms of composition and content.

Although I normally like face-on portraits of children I like the way that the anonymity of the model makes it a more universal image - more about the theme/ idea/ story than the individual.

The foliage at bottom left is a little too confused being so near to where I'd expect the head to be, and similar in colour to the model's hair. I'd like to see a pose with the back of the head more obviously included.

The clouds and sky and reflected foliage top right are nice.

Nor sure about the triangle of orange lower right.

I'm in two minds about the black at top left. On one hand it connects with the title of the photograph. On the other, that theme/ idea doesn't come across at all without the title. Then again, why should it, since there's no reason an artist can't choose to present the image and title as a whole, always to be shown together...

I like the tilt, even though it makes me turn my head.

I thought of using a swing ... nice unusual angle.

man i dont know what to do here......i LOVE this shot initially, great perspective and the stockinged feet kicking up in the air are great. at first i thought "what the heck is the deal with that big burned area in the corner?" but then i read your title again and i think i get it. therefore i will push past my initial reaction and try to get into the spirit that i THINK you are trying to convey, that of a girl swinging right from her own backyard and out into space....yes...i like it...no love it, great work and great creative thinking whoever you are....a big fat 10 and a fav

Interesting angle and lighting. I love the colours of the socks against the darkness. If only there was no ground or plant life on the right and just sky instead and this is a distraction.

Outstanding - and very dark. Not a pleaseant image at all. The right leg seems to have been tattooed. this child seems to be on the verge of falling upwards into space.

great perspective! i love the angles and the stopped motion. could be a little lighter and a little sharper, but that's just my opinion. great picture anyway! 8

I think this shot needed a flash. If you lit the child's back, the brightness of the colors of her outfit and the socks would pop out. I like the angle.

had prefered this without the CCW rotation. shadows are too dark.

Nice idea, but the exposure is off and the tipsy-turvy presentation can make one queasy.
