 OK so for day 5 we once again have three things that I love

1. Desat (again)
2. Krispy Kreme Donuts
3. My daughter

But in what order?.....hmmmmmm tricky... LOL

On Sunday Daisy and I went into Milton Keynes and spent a fantastic couple of hours browsing round our favourite bookstores. On the way back to the car we popped into Krispy Kreme and got ouserlves a couple of donuts....Then the shop gave us a free one ( between us ;-( ) By the time D had snarfed half the free one and her first one she was too full to eat her second donut (blueberry with a powdered top) so we brought it home with us

This morning after Daisy had had her cereal and toast she said she was still a bit hungry and - being a terrible father - I said she could have her donut (Krispy Kreme before school is wrong I know....this really was a one off though) anyhooooo the payoff for letting her eat it was that I got to take a picture of her for the side challenge.

She does have a bit of a Monday morning look about her eyes and I know there are some technical weaknesses in the shot but it still makes me smile a lot

Like the d sat! She is adorable! And I also love krispy Kreme Donuts!
The jackets hanging on the wall are a bit distracting. And try a little levels or curves to brighten it up.

i like the expression of your daughter here - the look of bliss.

i like the donut - but I prefer the original sticky ones best

the desat does not bother me here - but I think that it needs to connect more with the rest of the image (the b/w needs to be brighter

I do not like the processing with regards to the b/w conversion. It all seems a bit too gray....haven't we discussed this before!!!!! That shirt collar of your daughters is white, not gray, right?! Use that histogram friend! Use that histogram!

I think the expression seals the deal with this. Nice composition and PP. Hmmm... sour? Let's see... I dunno, maybe a bit more lighting.

On the contrary, I think Krispy Kreme on Monday before school makes you one hell of a cool Dad! Have a good trip :-)
