 (Taken yesterday; today's photos were disappointing). Thick carpet of leaves from our overweening red leaf maple - a challenge to zero in. Not too interesting, but the colour and definition beat my rejects.
Crop, fiddle with contrast, hue and saturation, resize, sharpen twice (Irfanview).

Love the simplicity of the pic. I love how the water under the top leaf looks like swirls of watercolor paint.

Appreciate the comments: I did play around with this and the whole pic to make more of a pop, but I kept losing the swirly water that tinky2 noticed and which I liked better than having some kind of pop.

The water drops on the leaf are really nice. The composition is excellent. Maybe a slight levels adjustment to brighten it up a little.

I think it's pretty - the colors are nice, the drops are interesting but I really like the swirly water at the bottom.
