 The lighting was quite tricky. The scene is lit by reflected flash off a white box. Caitlyn is lit by my new home-built 70cm softbox. I was very careful about light placement, but yes, as soon as I joined the images, they were very obviously mismatched. I filled some of the shadows a little by dodging, but that only went so far. I should have had the softbox much closer to her for even softer light, and also should have had a reflector on the other side. I'll know next time. :)

Version #2 - the red car is HSL adjusted for less impact in the image, so the viewer's eye keep going around the image. A few other minor adjustments around the place.

Hey Dave - Ask away any time you need an opinion.

And to the critique - I like this alot. The colors are great, the idea is very entertaining and well executed and the editing is excellent. The lighting is excellent as well. I am not sure if there is really anything that I could point to to suggest making this better. I find it to be a solid, visually pleasing and very entertaining image. Probably not much help here. Send me something crappy next time. ;)

Out of curiosity where is this being submitted?
