Drained contents of egg & colored shell pink; used skewer (impaled in clay) to suspend the shell in front of blue posterboard. Wrapped barrel of lens in blue gel for the first curve, used yellow gel handheld in front of lens for filter. This turned the posterboard green. Crop, levels, contrast and sharp. Cloned out the skewer. Used very long exposure times to experiment with filters and lighting.

Never felt the need to perform that experiment again. eeek.

like the idea, but the egg seems so flat and ordinary. Would like to see its "extraordinary" elements.

Not sure what the object is in the background. I think for the most part this is out of focus and so lacks in zip/wow/ or punch along with the muted coloring.

I'm not fond of the lighting in this.
