Sorry but I just don't see anything of interest here. The detail in the feathers isn't great. I can't see the face. The overall comp doesn't do much. Not sure what you wanted me to notice or like about this. 4
Nice capture, but if I may...if you look closely around the bird you will see a white, what looks like an outline. This is caused from oversharpnening, and many times unsharp mask. Using a lighter sharpen will help. Great composition though.
I feel this shot suffers from noise and a lack of detail. I also think that it lacks some contrast and that the composition is hurt by the negative space on the right side.
His coloring and pattern doesn't translate well into good detail in B&W here - unfortunately for us as photographers, critters tend to blend in with their surroundings a little too well sometimes!
