 Flowers and oysters--a way to a woman's heart?

Had oysters for dinner and wanted to keep the shells. Boiled the little bastards to get the stink out and had them drying when I decided to use them for this challenge. Also have a vase full of Gerber daisies leftover as a hostess gift from a baby shower so voila! The light source is a flashlight shining through a large slightly purple wine goblet--the base of the glass has a bit of reflection in the top right. I just purchased the Twin Peaks Gold Edition Box Set so perhaps I was subconciously inspired by the wierdly dark and eerily sexual/erotic undertones of the show. Granted, I have no talking midgets or one-armed dudes in my apartment, but nonethess, I still love the show! Random aside--if anyone else loves TP, drop me a line as I've been watching the episodes non-stop the past few days and it's heavy on the mind. Ah, to be in high school again...

great lighting. Nice subtle border. Centered composition maybe could be improved upon, but given where the light is coming from I think you did a great job.

I need to see more detail in the objects on the plate. The problem is with the limited size of the pictures we can post. The lighting is good.

Bordering on too dark, yet the air of mystery that the light brings is pretty darn good. I like it!
